Michal was a product of the Gorzow Youth programme back home in his native Poland but made the decision to come to the UK after failing to secure any regular speedway in his homeland.
After a relatively successful debut season in 2007 with Newport, he made the brave move of stepping up to the Elite League with Belle Vue for 2008. It was at that time a step too far and although his attitude was never in question, he only lasted until the May when he was dropped and subsequently moved to Mildenhall to ride again in the Premier League. That came to an end after a spectacular 3rd bend crash in heat 14 of their meeting at Glasgow left Michal with wrist and ankle injuries.
2009 saw him play a major part in Edinburgh’s success before moving to Stoke for the start of 2010. He struggled with the Loomer Rd outfit , who dropped him to bring in Adam Roynon at the start of May and Michal moved on to Berwick where he quickly became a fans favourite .Unfortunately he again had a season ended early by injury after suffering knee and leg injuries in a meeting against Newcastle at the end of August.
Now fully recovered, Michal is fit and raring to go and is a signing that has excited a lot of the Glasgow support. An electric gater, Michal did guest for the Tigers last season at Somerset when he was very impressive not only from a gating point of view but also from a racing point of view .
