2010 was another good year for Josh as he built on an excellent 2009 season with the Tigers, further increasing his average and at the same time getting a number of Elite League outings with Belle Vue. Thankfully it was also a better season for him on the injury front although he did miss a couple of meetings in September with hip injuries.
There were fears that Josh might not return to Glasgow for 2011 with his desire to try Poland but thankfully he will be returning for what will probably be his last season for now with the Tigers as he continues to progress
Josh is one of the current crop of exciting young Australian prospects who have come over to the UK in the past couple of years. He has been riding speedway since he was 12 years old and showed steady progression in that time. Impressively, he has at various times held the Queensland Junior title. the Queensland U21 and been the full Queensland Champion, all by the time he was 19. Although missing out on the Queensland U21 title to two Brit's this year, he was outstanding a couple of weeks later when he was crowned Queensland Champion. Like many of the Australians he also rode dirt track and long track, winning junior titles in both events.
In addition to Glasgow, Josh also has a doubling up shared position with Swindon for 2011
