Riding on another track for the first time, Robert put in a solid display with reports from track side that he was on occasions a little unlucky not to do better. He did however look smooth as he racked up 5 points from 5 rides.
A statement on Robert's own website show how we can see things differently from the other side of the fence as he sounds a little disappointed in his night.
The final round of the championship moves to Robert's home track at Gillman next Saturday.
Another Glasgow rider was also on show at the event as Mason Campton was named as one of the track reserves on what is his home circuit. Although Mason did not get a ride in the main event itself, he did take part in a couple of demonstration races against fellow track reserve Tyson Snow, Mason winning both quite comfortably.
