GTSSC Race Night
(10/03/07)
Robert Ksiezak's transfer of ownership from Edinburgh to Glasgow was confirmed on Saturday night in front of a disappointingly low attendance at the GTSSC race night.
The contract making Robert a Glasgow asset was duly signed and a slightly bashful Robert was interviewed by Michael Max about the move, confirming that he felt at this time it was the correct move to make.
Trent Leverington was also present, looking fit and healthy and raring to go. He advised that his wrist is almost back to normal and that he was very much looking forward to the start of the new season next Friday although both riders acknowledged the three meetings in three days start would be tough.
Referee Jim McGregor was also on hand to give a few pointers over rule changes, including the rather alarming revelation that Danny will be flashing this year but he then clarified it would be in the form of a light on top of the tractor. Discussions are also still underway as to whether the tractor will be banned from being on track at the same time as the riders following Jamie Smiths accident with the tractor at the start of last season at King's Lynn.
Despite the low attendance, the race night went well with the pig and dog racing adding an alternative to the normal horse racing.
