Well done to Robert Ksiezak on qualifying from his heat in Gustrow this evening for the semi finals of the World U-21's.

Robert had a very successful night recording three wins, a second place and a third to finish on 12 points. His record was exactly the same as Poland's Kamil Brzowowski but rather than take into account the result when the two faced each other, they went into a run off to decide who was allocated 3rd place.

Brzowowski had engine troubles in the run off leaving Robert to comfortably qualify in third.

Robert will now progress to one of the two semi finals, the first being held at Fjelsted in Denmark on the 6th June, the second at Rye House on 15th June - the same day as Glasgow host Birmingham at Ashfield in the Premier League.

5. Igor Kononov (Russia)
