Trent Out!
(Posted 20/05/08)
Just when Tigers fans thought things couldn't get worse, stand in skipper Trent Leverington has been ruled out for two weeks due to injury.
Trent has had more than his fair share of blows on the track this season so far, the latest being heat 13 on Sunday when he received a hand injury.
After the meeting, Trent was treated and received stitches to a very nasty gash and has been ruled out of action for two weeks as a result.
For next Sunday, Tigers will therefore have to field guests for Shane and Josh with rider replacement operating for Trent. In addition there are still concerns over Ross Brady who did a sterling job last Sunday but was riding through the pain barrier and struggling to walk, such is the extent of his knee injury.
Ross is continuing physiotherapy sessions and will no doubt be keen to ride but confirmation of that is unlikely until nearer the end of the week.
Get well soon Trent.
