2+1 for Robert in EL

Robert didn't have much luck last night in the Elite League as he recorded 2+1 from 6 rides.

In his opening ride, he barley got off the start before his bike packed up. His next two outings saw him at the back out of the gate on a track that was very heavy and not allowing much in the way of passing.

Heat 9 saw Robert in as a reserve replacement and he did well to hold off a late challenge from Jonas Davidsson to hold on to third place. Back out in heat 11, Robert once again failed to make the gate and found himself rooted at the rear.

His final outing was in heat 14 alongside Joe Screen and not for the first time this season the Aces pair gated on a 5-1. However, Robert was passed on the inside coming out of bend two by Adam Skornicki but was able to comfortably hold on to third place with Magnus Zetterstrom suffering engine problems at the back.

Belle Vue are next in action at Ipswich on Thursday and Robert is once again on stand by to appear.
