Lee Rides for Hull

Sheffield take advantage of a blank week in their schedule to take on Hull in a Yorkshire Cup Tie this evening with Lee Dicken riding for the Hull side.

Obviously it is a Hull 'select' but it is a strategically times meeting with a consortium including former promoter Dave Peet scheduled to meet with Hull Council officials in the next two weeks to discuss a proposed site in the city that may allow the Vikings to return.

Lee was himself previously a Hull asset, rode many times for them and his father is a former Hull promoter so he was a natural choice for the team. He will be joined by Magnus Karlsson, Robbie Kessler, Emiliano Sanchez and Paul Thorpe as well as Barrie Evans and Tai Woffinden with Garry Stead as team manager.

Good luck to Lee for this evening and to the consortium with their meeting later in the month.
