Injury Problems Deepen
(Posted 06/05/08)
As if things weren't bad enough for the Tigers on track, they are also blighted with injury troubles, Josh Grajczonek being the most recent concern.
Josh crashed out of last night's meeting at Newcastle in what was a rather innocuous looking fall. Unfortunately he injured his wrist and initial reports from the track were that a break was suspected. Josh was heading home last night to have it checked out but the promotion are keeping their fingers crossed that it is not as bad as first feared.
Tigers are obviously already without their skipper. Mitchell Davey, who knocked himself out on Sunday, has reportedly been suffering from dizzy spells and will therefore have to take some extended time out.
In addition, Trent is still not 100% fit after his hefty collision with the fence in the Edinburgh meeting and Ross Brady has been suffering from a troublesome knee knock picked up in the Birmingham meeting.
