Another Riding Order Change for Tigers
(Posted 02/05/08)
Glasgow may well have decided not to make any knee jerk changes after last Sunday's debacle but the team WILL have a different look about it on Sunday as the riding order once more changes.
Sunday saw Ross Brady complete his 3rd home meeting for the tigers and having done 3 home and 3 away his new average now kicks in for team building purposes.
As a result, Ross - riding to 3.37 after Sunday's meeting - will drop into the reserve berth alongside Mitchell Davey. Meantime Josh Grajczonek - on 3.83 - will go the other way and step into the main body of the team.
Prior to Sundays meeting there had only been 0.02 between the two so a change was always on the cards.
It is perhaps not ideal, as it may have been to Mitchell's advantage to get up his confidence riding with Josh, who he has ridden with for a few years, but he may well learn and benefit from Brady's electric gating. Josh will undoubtedly find is a lot harder going in the main body of the team but will no doubt be relishing the challenge and gets his first taste of riding in the main body with Rye House as a guest on Saturday night.
Presumably, Robert Ksiezak will move back to no 5 with Josh most likely to slot in to Mitchell's old position at 4.
Many thanks to Michael Max for advising us of the correct averages for Josh and Ross
