Stoke Meeting Quickly Re-Arranged

The Premier League clash between Glasgow and Stoke, rained off a short while ago, has quickly been re-arranged for Thursday 3rd July.

This was the date originally scheduled for the Newport clash before they sadly had to withdraw from the league. Stoke had already taken advantage of the gap in fixtures left by Newport by re-arranging a rain off at Armadale with Edinburgh on the Friday night, the 4th July.

Although Glasgow have a free Sunday in 6th July, Stoke did not want to have to travel twice to Scotland in three days and therefore the promotion accommodated this by agreeing to ride at Ashfield on the 3rd.

As a result, however, the Heathersfield Junior Championship which had been re-scheduled for the 2nd July will now no longer take place but will be allocated a slot later in the season .
