Robert in Action in Poland
(Posted 21/06/08)
In addition to riding in the World U-21 in Diedenberg this Sunday, Robert was in foreign action last night for his Polish side Torun.
Torun took advantage of the unusual Friday night fixtures to give Robert his debut in the home meeting against Leszno.
In the end, Robert only got one race, the very first race of the meeting where he finished a creditable third behind Chris Holder and Jurica Pavlic. He was replaced in his remaining rides, as often happens in Poland.
Torun lost the meeting by two points - 44-46 - their first home defeat of the season.
