Fixture Changes

For those who missed the announcement last week at Ashfield, there are one or two changes to the fixture list over the coming months.

Obviously we have now lost Newport and the home and away fixtures against them at the beginning of July.

Instead, the Heathersfield Open Junior Event, usually held towards the end of the season, has now been slotted in to the gap on Wednesday 2nd July. Although this is not a normal race day, it does provide a platform for riders of the future and hopefully as many as possible will make the effort to get along midweek to give the youngsters some encouragement. No one at the even last year can fail to remember particularly the final race where Gary Beaton and Adam McKinna battled it out, Gary coming out on top.

In addition, the Sheffield meeting rained off last week has now been re-arranged for 10th August at Ashfield. This is the date that was for the Ashfield Classic and this has now been moved back two weeks to the 24th August. .
