Mitchell to Ride for Young Roo's

Mitchell Davey will be turning out for the Young Roo's side at King's Lynn next Wednesday night as a Young Lions v Young Roo's meeting is staged in memory of Ashley Jones.

The Young Roo's will technically have a 'guest' rider for the night with Tai Woffinden asked to line up for them as it was felt otherwise the Young Lions side would be far too strong and the event too one sided.

It was decided to hold a team event of this nature in Ashley's memory as it was the type of meeting he himself would have benefited from when he first came over to the UK and is therefore a fitting tribute to him.

From Mitchell's point of view, it will give him an opportunity to get some much needed track time away from the pressures of Premier League racing.
