Trent and Robert in Open

As widely expected, Trent Leverington and Robert Ksiezak have been drafted in as last minute replacements for the gaps in the Scottish Open field at Armadale on Friday night.

Edinburgh's decision not to include even a token Tigers rider in the original line up angered many to the extent many said they would not travel to watch the event.

Edinburgh have assembled a very strong line up for the event but were hit with injury withdrawals from Carl Stionehewer and Daniel Nermark as well as William Lawson not recovering from his broken collar bone in time to compete.

The action starts earlier than normal at 7.15 and there is also a chance to test your reactions on a bike with a start timer to see how quickly you can 'gate' with all proceeds from it going to the David McAllan fund.
