Stoney Back, Mildenhall Team Changes
(Posted 18/07/08)
As was announced at Ashfield last Sunday, Glasgow fans will welcome adopted Tiger Carl Stonehewer back as guest for Shane Parker this Sunday but the Mildenhall side he and the remaining Tigers will face is slightly different from that expected.
Theo Pijper will not turn out for the Fen Tigers after citing engine troubles for his in ability to race this weekend. Its the latest in a long line of blows for Mildenhall who have struggled all season to put a team together.
They moved quickly to sign former Newport Marek Mroz as cover and this was ratified by the BSPA earlier today. They were also given the bonus news that he will slot into the team as a second string when it had originally been thought he would ride at no 3.
However, according to a press release from Mildenhall earlier, he will now ride at no 2 against Glasgow with rider replacement operating at no 3. This means that guest no 1 Ricky Ashworth will now also be entitled to take one of the rider replacement rides. Mildenhall will also have Adam McKinna guesting at reserve.
