Shane and Ross Pair Up

Tigers fans were given the first inkling of the team line up for 2008 in this weeks Speedway Star with Team Manager Stewart Dickson confirming that Shane Parker and Ross Brady will be one pairing.

What is not yet known is whether they will be riding at 1 and 2 or 3 and 4.

Stewart was quoted as saying he did not want Robert Ksiezak and Shane together for the start of the season as, especially after his performance in the Australian U-21 championship, he felt that it was time for Robert to stand on his own two feet.

Presumably this will mean that Robert will ride at no 5 which, if Shane is at number 1, could give the Tigers a decent pairing with plenty of experience of riding together in the tough heat 13.

No decision has been made as to whether Mitchell Davey or Josh Grajczonek will start in the main body of the team. That decision is unlikely to be made until after both have had a few laps of the Ashfield track at Press and Practice.
