Tigers Pair Miss Birmingham Away
(Posted 22/04/08)
It will be a depleted Tigers side who will head down the M6 for the return leg of the Knock Out cup tomorrow night with two of the three riders injured on Sunday having to sit it out.
Lee Dicken will make the meeting but Ross Brady, who was involved in the same accident, is having extensive physiotherapy and will not make it. Not surprisingly, Mitchell Davey will also be missing following his hefty crash in heat 5.
As per the rules, it will be rider replacement for Ross whilst a guest will take Mitchell's place. The promotion have moved to secure the services of Reading's Chris Mills and it looks like an inspired choice. In three meetings at Perry Barr last season, all in the main body of the team, Mills averaged an impressive 9.23.
