Another 3+1 for Robert in the Elite League
(Posted 17/04/08)
Robert Ksiezak continued his busy spell with another appearance for Belle Vue this evening at Peterborough and once again did the job required of him although Belle Vue went down by just two points.
Heat 2 was won from the gate by in form home reserve Claus Vissing with Robert a relatively untroubled second. In his next race in heat 4, it could almost be said that there were two races in one with Robert rather easily holding off Henrik Moller to claim third spot.
Heat 8 was a bit of a disaster for Robert however. He looked to have made a pretty good start but didn't even get to the first corner before his engine gave up the ghost. Whether this had an effect on his final race or not is unclear but in his last outing in heat 14 Robert came in at the back.
However right from the start of his spell in the Belle Vue team the management made it clear that they would be happy if he could score a paid 3 point return. Again he managed to exceed that with a paid 3+1 from 4.
Robert is once again on stand by for Monday evening's Belle Vue home meeting as it is not yet clear if Boxall will be fit to make his return or not.
