Robert Sent to Coventry
(Posted 10/04/08)
With Steve Boxall still ruled out with a shoulder injury, Robert Ksiezak will once again deputise for him in Belle Vue's meeting at Coventry on Friday - and with the praise of Aces team manager Chris Morton.
Belle Vue probably did not expect to have to utilise their number 8 rider so early in the season but Robert has earned quite a bit of praise for his efforts since stepping in and its fair to say he has done better than the Belle Vue management probably expected.
Chris Morton has said on the official Belle Vue website:
"There has been a plus side to Boxall's injury because Ksiezak has stepped up from the Premier League to show he can handle the demands of the Elite League.
This is not a situation we want but Robert has done well for us overall. It's good for me as team manager to know that we've got a No 8 who is capable of coming in when required and doing a job for us."
Robert is also on standby for next Mondays home meeting at Belle Vue, also against Coventry.
Good Luck Robert
